Example Project - Product Analysis
Trendsetter Collective is a 7-figure business in the print-on-demand space, supplying premium mockups to entrepreneurs and startups worldwide. Despite offering a product nearly identical in quality to the market leader, they had never been able to close the gap and didn't know why.
Months of consumer research had gone nowhere. So I took a different approach.
I conducted a deep competitive analysis across Trendsetter and three direct competitors, examining hundreds of Etsy product listings and drawing direct correlations between views, purchases, pricing, and long-term revenue. The data told a clear story: Trendsetter was cannibalizing their own product catalog, fragmenting demand across listings that competed with each other rather than the market.
For the first time, they had a data-backed answer. Not a hunch.
With the problem defined, we mapped out a path forward and made the strategic decision to expand, repositioning their catalog to capture market share rather than split it.
